Yesterday evening I’ve tried to finish my latest video for the “MOBY – Wait For Me” video contest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kscftR5wl5Q.

After exporting it as QuickTime video I found the colors of the result a little bit “washed out”…

Unfortunately this is normal and so I’ll correct this afterwards with MPEG Streamclip http://www.squared5.com/ by adjusting saturation, contrast, brightness and converting it to h.264 material.

Yesterday evening I found no perfect setting for these values, so the video always looked too colorful or too washed out…

I remembered that I’ve also used Apple’s Compressor to do the job in the past, but normally the Compressor is very slow.

But this time I wanted a perfect result and so I’ve started the export in the evening and – unbelievable – the next morning the export was even ready… ;-))

And the result was as I expected it! There was no visible difference to the original material.

Maybe you’ll need these setting for your work also… then please have a close look at the following screenshots!
