The weather in Germany is usually bad at the moment… so I had time to test something new with a green screen (or a green carpet).
Besides I could show you my Canon EOS 7D and a Zacuto Z-Finder (http://zacuto.com) connected to the great STEADYSTICK – a fabulous stabilization system from Germany.

Some more words about the STEADYSTICK:
With a weight of only 900 grams (31.68 Ounces (oz.)/ 1.98 Pounds (lbs.)) it is really easy to take it with you – everywhere! And it is cheap compared to other products.
You can use it with the belt accessory (static mode) or in freehand mode.
In static mode it’s nearly as stable as a tripod and in freehand mode it is very flexible and fast.
When using the STEADYSTICK with a DSLR (e.g. Canon EOS 7D) for filming you should use it with a viewfinder like the Zacuto Z-Finder (http://zacuto.com). Especially when you want to change the focus or the focal length the Z-Finder is essential as a third contact point.
I’ve shot many videos with the STEADYSTICK connected to a Sony PMW-EX1, e.g. this one: Chill and Ride 2009!
You will see that the result is convincing.
For me its a great plus that I can use the STEADYSTICK with a DSLR and with a video cam.
You may have noticed it: This is *no* official video from STEADYSTICK… ;-)
